Becoming a Member of the Knotts Island Ruritan Club

Ask any member of the Knotts Island Ruritan Club why they enjoy being a part of the club and they will first tell you that it's a great feeling when they get together with friends and neighbors, working to improve the way of life on the island. Also, it's a handy way for new residents to introduce themselves to their neighbors and get quickly established in the community.

Becoming a member is easy. Contact one of the people on the Membership Committee, listed below, or ask a member you know about joining. There is a short application to fill out. The application is reviewed and you will be invited to your first meeting where you are introduced. A short discussion takes place and you are issued your lapel pin. From there, you select your level of membership and join.  There are two levels:

Regular Membership-     $15 initiation fee (one time) and $55 dollars per year in dues.

Associate Membership-  $3 initiation fee (one time) and then you only pay national dues per year.

Then you just come to the meetings and take part in the fellowship and service.

There are other benefits worth mentioning as well.
