| Moonrise Bay is Knotts Island's newest vineyard. It is a
family operated venture born of Richard "Oakie" Morris' vision.
The small winery was given the name because of the spectacular moonrises
over the nearby Outer Banks. The vineyard began
in 1997 and held its first harvest in 2001. Richard and Kate
invite you to visit for tours and wine tasting. They're open from noon to 5pm daily. |
